Sunny & pleasant this morning but cool 60°

Dear Doris.

We are having a cloudy day for Sunday so will take advantage of the dull time and write to you. hope you arrived home with all your luggage safe & found everything on your arrival unmolested.

In Stoughton theres been three breaks one at Dr Faxons another at Blanche Vanstons & third at Dr McGrathes they took valuable property at the three places & it was done by professionals they say they left no fingerprints. Police are investigating the breaks we hope they will find the thieves.

I had two days here after you left & one night alone, but lived through it it being my fault as Addie came over and tried to follow out your orders in getting the Attic woman over to stay the night with me but I said no as I thought it was foolish just for one night. then when she found that did not work she called up Pete McGarvey and told him I was alone here & to send up a man to look out for me. he had an officer patrol the Street in front here all
