they look more than comical with such big bodies I am glad I am old fashioned & dont believe in such things. the less clothes people wear the better nowadays. its getting too rediculous for any thing. 

They are very quiet & not firing today. guess they are saving their crackers for tonight. I am getting used to it & dont mind the common crackers. & if I once get to sleep get to sleep noise does not for me it takes an awful noise to wake me. I hope you are having a good time & will enjoy the birthday tomorrow & hope she has lots of presents & a lovely time with the girls.

Mrs Williams has just called up to greet Mrs B & says dont forget to tell Mrs Holmes that I haven't forgotten that I am going to take her for another ride some pleasant day & going to learn of her how to make some braided rugs, she has got lots of pieces of her boys clothes laying around the house & would like to braid them up into rugs but has'nt the slightest idea how to do them. she is a very good hearted woman & has always had money & there's no put on to her. acts very natural. is very generous she pities Maude & carries in food & would do lots for her. she helps poor people Alice & Perey of all the people Mrs Barry knows she says she enjoys Mrs Williams the most they are a good deal alike Ma
