Dear Folks
We are having warmer weather & guess today its getting ready for showers tonight or tomorrow windy + cloudy I am going to write this letter + am in hopes it may reach you by tomorrow. theres not much to tell you as when no one goes out theres not much variation.
The little woman across the way visited me with her baby + I let her pick a boquet of violets. the lawn is covered with them + they are right in their prime today more have blossomed out where she picked them. I think they are so pretty, they always remind me of Hazel she loved them so. its owing to her they are growing in the yard she set them out + they have always grown here ever since. her picture was taken with a little boquet of them in her hand. on the way to Brockton, I had to stop the horse + let her get out to pick them. Maggie went with us, they both had their pictures taken. theres nothing in the wild flowers thats' any prettier.

I hav'ent heard from Lena since I wrote her two weeks ago but presume she is still nursing that woman
