Dear Folks.

Its cloudy this morning & looks very much like rain this is also a stormy month & cold, we need our fire to keep warm & it may be we shall have to order some oil this week, we need it till after the May storm.

The Catholics this afternoon have a big time they all meet & have invited Mrs Barry to attend & rather than put out Mrs Williams who invited her, she will attend she objects though to large gatherings they play cards & have refreshments she will have a good time, she is going with Addie & there will be a plenty she knows & is a talker & lively. she should get her living by talking. born in July like little Doris she thinks aloud. I wish my gab was more fluent. but dont want to be tiresome.

Mary Holmes has just called, she has got moved & guess is pretty happy & is very intimate with Marion Esten she is well liked here in town, she invited me to come & see her. Marion called one day to see me because she said I was good to her mother, theres no put on to her & if she dont like people she does'nt pretend she does, but lets them alone & is no gossip.
