General:-
     The Asst. Comr. directs me to call your attention to the fact that one Mr. Haskell received transportation from Columbia or Abbeville S.C. to some point in the State of Missippi. for a number of freedpeople; the General is informed that the transportation was sent to Columbia, direct to Mr. Haskell, and he wishes to know if you have a bond of Mr. Haskell for the proper use of the transportation order and also three lists of the freedpeople and three copies of the transportation order. If you have these papers please forward them immediately, and if not send an explanation of the reason they were not delivered to your Headquarters, by Mr. Haskell in accordance with Par. 4 Sec. 11. and Sec 4. of Cir.
