The Asst. Com. directs me to call your attention to the fact that one Mr. Haskell received transportation from Columbia or Abbeville S.C. to some point in the State of Mississippi for a number of freed people; the General is informed that the transportation was sent to Mr. Haskell direct and he wishes to know if you have [[strikethrough]] { a hand of Mr Haskell for the proper use of the transportation order and when [[?]] strikethrough]] three lists of the freedpeole and three copies of the transportation order. 
If you have these papers please forward them immediately, and if not send an explanation of the reason they were not delivered to your Headquarters by Mr Haskell in accordance with Par 4. Sec. 11, and Sec 4 of Cir 10 Headquarters Asst. Comr. B.R.F. & A.L. Charleston S.C. Dec 10, 1866.
