States that her father who is now in Canada has left an Agent to attend to his plantation. that he called twice upon Capt. Brandt to approve the Contract but Captain B. refused in consequence the freedmen are insubordinate &c requests something be done in the matter.

Respectfully returned to Muss Marion. S. Daniell, Savannah Geo. with the information that Captain H. Brandt is now absent on sick leave but the Assistant Commissioner will send an Officer to settle the affairs on Mr. Daniels plantation as soon as possible.
