Lieutenant,
I have the honor to transmit herewith (with request that they be returned,) the papers relative to the house occupied by the Freed-school at this station. It will be seen by reference to the enclosed lease which expired on the 30th ulto, that there is an increase in rent as stipulated therein, of One Hundred dollars per annum.

The lease for the ensuing year has been executed by the A. S. A. Comr here, in accordance with endorsements Hd Qrs Asst. Comr S.C. Feb, 23 transmitted thro' your office Feb 25. '67 That now the orders of the Bureau R.F. & A.L. require a board of Officers to fix the price of rent and I respectfully request such a board may be convened, so this lease may not be hereafter questioned in regard to its validity owing to a non
