Mr. Bingham stated that Andy Oakley was still at work for him that he was knowing to the facts in regard to Andrews services at Walkers and knew that he furnished the supplies as stated. he also knew that both Osborn & Andrew were faithful and industrious, for these reasons alone he had accompanied them here. It appears that Mr. Carle had failed to notify the Freedmen to appear on Saturday. Mr. Walker was passing and I called him in, commenced the case at once and finished with the evidence on Osborns side, notified Walker and the other parties to appear Tuesday and I concluded the case that evening. 

Mr. Walker desired to prove first: that he had nothing to do with Andy Oakley and owed him nothing - secondly: that the corn crop was very light that Osborns share was only one fourth the crop raised on the new ground, as his (Osborns) party only worked one half the new ground and entitled only to half of the ground worked by them - and that Osborns share did not exceed (12)
