I was also to have 1/3 of the Fodder & Shucks on the open ground - do not know how much but think about 675 its fodder altogether  I never got any of it =

In November 1866 I agreed to let him go into my woods and cut wood for the R.R. he to cut and I was to haul to the R.R. and I to receive 100¢ per cord on all sold, the balance he was to have - he cut about 6 cords.  he then commenced cutting 8 ft wood for me and I agreed to [[crossed out]] deliver [[/crossed out]] give him 1/2 he to deliver it on the road about 22 cords this was settled for - [[crossed out]] Last Spring (1867) I let him [[/crossed out]] In the Spring of .67 he commenced in the wood again and cut and delivered 11 1/2 cords he got pay for it from the R.R. and I got no share there was due me 75¢ per cord on the 11 1/2 cords = in the following fall. we made a written contract to deliver 120 cords to the R.R. he was to cut & haul the wood to the R.R. and receive 1.00 per cord for his services. the Road Master measured
