Agreement entered into between Willie Henderson and Mills Saunders both of the County of Grange & State of North Carolina.

The said Willie Henderson agrees to pay said Mills Saunders Ninety Dollars, Three hundred pounds of pork, and fifteen bushel of Corn and also  also furnish a house for his family to live in, ground for a garden and a horse and plough to work the same.

The said Mills Saunders Agrees to work for the said Henderson up to the 25th day of Dec 1868.

It is understood that the said Henderson has no Claim upon the Services of the family of the said Mills Saunders, and it is further Agreed between the parties that if any falling out should occur so that they cannot get along together, they are to have a settlement adjusted by three good men.
