My son Charles passed me & struck at Mills with a chair dont know whether he struck him or not 
Mills struck Charles with the big end of the stick above & below the right eye and on the left arm.

Mills ran towards the P.O. I struck Mills there with the small end of his arm stick twice or three times. I picked up a rock & told Mills to put down the stick or I would hit hm with the rock - he dropped the stick & I dropped the rock.
