Mills was left in custody of Charles Watson. James W. asked Mills how long he would be in - He said he reckons he would be in till about 12 o'clk - Mr Watson that was not what he would [[?]] be wanted to know when he would be at the store - Mills said at such time as he might appoint Mr Watson said he would let him go off if he would give his and to be back by 11 AM
Mills in an insolent manner said he had more work to do & he was going to do it = Mr W - to let him he had issued a warrant against him & he must be there. Then Mills said he had his order from the Bureau & he was going to carry it out. Mr Watson said that was a civil warrant, had nothing to do with the Bureau & it must be attended to -
