When Mills came back to the store - has tied by Judd McDade [[?]] Watson threatened him two or three times after he was tied but did not strike him

Jordon Swayne (F) being duly sworn says tat he has known James Watson several years, considers him a gentleman good citizen = has tried many cases for the colored peole generaly gave satisfaction. Some cases were not satisfactory to them Many colored people have said that they would prefer to ave their cases tried by James Watson than any other magistrate -
