That without [[strikethrough]] [[/striketrhough]] hesitation,
Or a moments consideration,
He,ll make his resignation,
And leave the darkie nation.
In their ignorance degredation,
To work their own salvation,
Slaves still to be or have starvation.
But men of moderation,
And wise discrimination,
And better information,
And general observeation,
And mental cultivation,
See through such calculation.
And without hesitation,
Or any defalcation,
Or the least Intimidation,
At their great infatuation,
And wild miscalculation,
And bitter condemnation,
Of his honest Avocation,
But will [[strikethrough]] will [[/strikethrough]] with Sam's remuneration,
And Freedmen's small donation,
And good people's Approbation,
Pursue their avocation,
To a final consumation,
To teach the rising generation,
Of the colored population,
And if they have capacition,
With mental cultivation,
Sit them for the Station,
Of Freemen in the nation.
