The school in Victoria is flourishing finely under the care of Wm Cunningham the Children are making great endorsement in reading, one boy four years old read very well in the fourth reader. There were but very few that wrote in a writing Book. I suggested the propriety to Wm C. of compelling them to lay aside the slate as soon as possible and use the pen. She accepts a vacation of one month.
