Sir I have the honour herewith to forward school report of Teacher of Freedmen's school at Palestine with the following remarks to wit: That the school is in a flattering condition; there are sixty five scholars all making good progress in spelling reding, writing arithmetic and English Grammar. That the Freedmen have purchased a suitable house. That the people are pleased at its success and that every thing indicates that all will be crowned with abundant fruits
