I have the honor herewith to transmit teachers Reports of Schools in this District for the Month of April 1867.

The reports show a total enrollment of 461 Pupils with an average daily attendance of 309.

The schools are in a flourishing condition, the buildings occupied are in comparatively good repair, and are comfortable.

The method of instruction pursued appears to be good, and the scholars show a marked improvement.

The teacher of one of the schools Miss T. R. Garrison has tendered her resignation which has been accepted. taking effect April 30th.

I have not been officially informed whether her place has been supplied.
