Lampasas Nov 30 1867

Lieut. J.P. Richardson
A.A.A.G.

No further prospect has been made with regards to education, than is embraced in my last report, one on account of this county being thinly settled it seems to be almost an impossibility to collect enough freed children of any one locality to warrant the establishment of a school with any prospect of sustaining it.

Very Resp &c
Signed, Chas. F. Roe
