Dear Sir:

I am taking the liberty of writing to you in the name of the well known artist and sculptor, Miss Helen Haas whose works we have had the privilege of handling in our galleries here.

As you probably know, she has done a very remarkable head of Col. Roosevelt, and we thought that it might perhaps find a suitable place in the Roosevelt Wing of your Museum.

Should you be interested in the above, we would be delighted to show you this work in our galleries or to send it to the Museum on approval.

Miss Haas has just sold to the Duke of Kent the bust she did of ex-King Edward, and she has also just completed two heads of the little Princesses for the English Royal Family. All her work is of great artistic merit.

Hoping that I may be favored with your kind reply,

Please believe me to be

Yours respectfully,

(C. M. Hauke)
