Dear Mrs. Hein:

Do have my thanks for your letter of May 2nd, but though you write that you are sending a photograph, a poor one you add, of a "Donateur Agenouillé", let me say that it was not included.

Answering your query, I expect to be in Paris towards the end of May, but I do not care to take a trip to see this statue, unless I have had an opportunity of seeing first a photograph so that I may be able to judge whether it is of any interest.

I therefore trust that you will send one to me here, or that you will have it in readiness for me to look at in Paris.

I also hope that you will have a few items of exceptional interest to call to my attention.

With best personal greetings,

Sincerely yours,

Germain Seligman
