Dear Mabel:
I really seem to have hard luck in my efforts to get you on the telephone; hence these lines as I feel very badly that I haven't seen you at all since the day you set foot on these shores, on the pier.
I would love to have a little visit with you and it would be great if we could have lunch together, perhaps one day next week. Won't you give me a ring so that we can make a date?
In the meantime, I hope my lines find you well, and with many kind personal regards,
Always sincerely,
(R. H. Waegen)
