Dear Doris

A stormy dull day will take advantage of it & write my letter to you for I am waiting for her to come from Westwood where her old friends are entertaining them today I have just come home from Addies. she asked me if I thought Lena would sell some of her block paintings & I told her I thought she would be glad to. so she took her address so to write to her. she has just made some of their kitchen door and breakfast room. on pink or peach color. they look lovely. Addie is very ingenious like all hunchbacks.

Tomorrow night the choir crowd are coming here to rehearse their piece. Friday night is the night its [[it's]] to be put on. she has sold a lot of tickets over 50 & still selling them. no one refuses to buy of her. Laura is coaching this one also one for her own church & for hers Bill her husband, is going to have to symphony players out here to play & Laura has invited her to come out to hear it.
