Dear Doris

Another week has gone, its Sunday today & cloudy looks like another change in temperature. yesterday was a very mild day wind to the south. it is prophesied we were going to have a cold spell with the wind to the N West. we are sick of these sudden changes in temperature but the snow holds off thats [[that's]] one good thing. I went out early & raked a few leaves. they all come over here from the whole neighborhood. but I will get rid of them some how. when Lena was here that time she raked them up & burned them. I couldn't stop her, but it used her up for a long time. she had to go into see her doctor Dr. Otte by the way he died. I got a long letter from her yesterday I am sending it along she doesn't say much about her trip to California. barely mentions it. 

The play is still going on or the preparations for it. they came here last Tuesday to rehearse it and
