Dear Doris

We are still enjoying nice sunny days after our rain of Friday. the day was warm but now tonight its growing cold, these sudden changes are what we get, they are not desirable.

I received a letter from Mary Talbot French yesterday, it seemed good to hear from her, the letter spoke of her as being about the same & that Talbot & his wife came on again & took her to ride but not in her hometown. Celia, Talbots wife lived in Bridgewater so he leaves her with them her people & goes among his folks when he comes on his vacation. & Oscar the other son lives in Arlington in Harrys old home. they called on Everette thats James French son. James is still living about my age, I used to go to school with Jimmie & Charley French they were both very good boys. also good schollars [[scholars]].

It seems good to look over to Bings house & see it lighted, the family moved in the first of the week. their name is Holman she has a daughter here in town who married a man by the name of Pillsbury
