Dear Doris

We have had three lovely warm sunny days & its now time to change of the wind getting into the North East & making everybody feel uncomfortable such is our weather & who can feel well on account of it. no wonder people are sick. never the less I dont have any bad effects so ought not to complain. Your letter with the pictures came I thought them very good. I had never had a picture of Cousin Wallace before, so was pleased to get one. it may look as he does to day very old of course. he seemed much pleased at meeting you, how did you happen to think of going there, wasnt it out of the way of Elizabeths neighborhood? I wrote Wallace a long letter & it went today. he was a very good schollar but sickly, he tried for High School the same year that I did. but was sick & had to drop back a year. only eleven years old when he got in. I did not try till the year after my class entered on account of my mother.
