but guess it was a mistake on my part as you didn't care for each other.

I sent you an account of Mr Brays death, but it didn't state what he died of, he lived to be an old man. I often wonder what will eventually become of Madeline. she has given up her life to her family all right.

The fire in Brocton [[Brockton]] theater was a terrible tradgety the worst one since the Grovers boot shop. 12 firemen were taken in trying to save the building when the roof fell in burying them but few were saved. the papers were full of it. I suppose you have heard of it as the papers were full of it. I don't read much of it as it makes me feel so gloomy. lucky it did not happen when the theater was packed with a large ordiance [[audience]]. the brave firemen were bad enough to be taken. so far this has been a year of accidents. we dont have to go across the water, they are right here at home. I hope little Doris is well broken out by now & will keep warm untill they are over. we all have to have such things & better to have them when young & at home where mother can take care of us. we are having terrible winter weather. we no more get our path before we are having another snow storm to fill it up again. the little snow birds & sparrows are hovering around after food. to feed them calls the dogs so what can we do.
