Dear Doris

Every thing is covered with a white frosting. our snow storm came at last, some during the night & all day by spells Saturday, but cleared at night. I got up early & swept a path down the front way for the Postman. he is very good to us in coming to take our mail. so I mean to give him a fair entrance. I asked the Railway express man where he traded who he got his groceries of "Perdiago", he answered before I realized he sensed it. Thats where you are sensible I said.

Anna Lamb came here Friday afternoon! she stayed & talked with Mrs Barry. I listened but could'nt hear much she said. it would put her out to ask her to talk louder. she is very sensitive. thinks she talks loud but she is very hard to understand by folks that are. they
