WARRANT OF ARREST.
JOSEPH WALKER, AGT. PRINT., NO. 3 BROAD ST., CHARLESTON.

The State of South Carolina.
Williamsburgh DISTRICT.
By S W Maurice Magistrate in and for the said State.

TO ANY LAWFUL CONSTABLE.

WHEREAS, complaint upon oath has been made unto me, by William J Cockfeild that at          in the District and State aforesaid, on or about this 1st April last           he has reasons to believe that Addison Cockfeild did feloneously take and carry away a certain plow the property of Washington Cockfeild and that Jesse Coward is a material witness,

These are, therefore, to command you to apprehend the said Defendant, and the said witness and bring them before me, to be dealt with according to law.
GIVEN under my Hand and Seal, the 6th day of July one thousand eight-hundred and Sixty Seven

PERSONALLY appeared before me S M Maurice a Magistrate of the said State William J Cockfeild who being duly sworn, says: that he has reason to believe that Addison Cockfeild did at .... in the District and State aforesaid, on or about the 15th April last and feloneously take and carry away and appropriate to his own use  a plow the property of Washington Cockfeild contrary to the peace and dignity of the state and that Jesse Coward is a material witness to prove the fact
