State that in consequence of the poverty of the people in this vicinity they will be unable to collect from the funds to meet the claims against the several properties in this

Town upon which partial payt has been made by the citizens. and requests an appropriation of seven hundred dollars from the school fund of the Bureau R F & A L.

Very respectfully forwarded. I am well advised of the condition of the within mentioned property and of the inability of

the citizens to complete the the amt of purchase money.  I therefore recommend that the appropriation asked be granted in order that a very valuable property may be secured for school purposes
