Sir,

I found yours of the 2nd here on my arrival this morning.

I have made inquiries and find that the following places can be rented here for teachers, viz:

1. House in village with 4 or 5 rooms. Subject to sale. Can be rented by the month for $10.00 either party having privilege of terminating contract at one month's notice.

2. House in village on Main Street. Has 4 or 5 rooms Subject to sale. Rent $10.00 per mo. 

3. House in outskirts of village. Has seven rooms with fire places. In good repair. Has a school room with three compartments detached. Was formerly used as a military school. Is near the Methodist Church in which Miss Steven's taught.

Situation pleasant but a little ways from the centre of the village. Rent twenty five dollars. Might be had for twenty but twenty - five dollars would be a smaller rent than I pay considering the advantages of the place. Is unoccupied was formerly
