Dear Sir;
Can you give any information concerning the construction of the Freedman's school House in Houston. When can we expect it to be completed? Labor is very low and the house is much needed  The owner of the church buildings need them and wish them evacuated.

I will thank you kindly for any information you can give in relation to this matter. Should you pass thro H. again please have the kindness to call on me — at Cushing's Book Store or in my room to wh. the clerk, in Bookstore will direct you.
