Dear Sir
I have the honor to ask of you information, in regard to a certain Lady that arrived in Victoria a few days ago, as she says to take charge of the School House as soon as finished, and further more, a few days ago, there was an order sent to Wm R. Ripley, to notify him that he would not receive rent for his House after the 31st day of October 1869. And now I am left destitute of a house to teach in, [[strikethrough]] and [[/strikethrough]] because the School House is not finished, and when it is finished I would like Very much to know whether I am to take charge of the School House or the Lady; moreover it is [[strikethrough]] raising [[/strikethrough]] causing a great deal of excitement among the Freed people, especially at a time that I
