Dear Sir,
I recd. your letter of the 19th Ulto.; & considered its contents fully; I feel obliged to you; for your consideration in my behalf regarding your Proposition; before I had made any final, arrangement any other point; your Telegraph Dispatch was recd by Mr. Washington; & transferred to me; I took action by going to Bryon, & Reporting to the Revd Mr. Foster in relation to the School; the result was, he gave me charge of the School; I therefore Duly, notified, the, People; that I would Open the (School) on the 1st of June; I Signed the Voucher & returned them with this note; I thought it proper not to fill them out, but Sign them; to comply with your Orders your note of the 19th; please send me a few blank monthly Reports; if you have any on hand; I will try and Establish a good School in Bryan; if possible; any communications; rec'd from you; will be answered with promptness if Requisite.
