SPECIAL ORDERS,
No 3

Mr Joseph Welch, Superintendent of Education Bureau R F & A.L., for the state of Texas, is hereby authorized to purchase in open market for use in the Bureau Office at Austin, during the quarter commencing January 1st and ending March 31st 1870, three (3) Cords of Wood for Fuel. He is also hereby authorized to purchase the regulation allowance of Forage for one (1) horse, for the period above stated, viz: 1080 pounds of Corn, and 1260 pounds of Hay. He will take up and account for these supplies when purchased; and will issue his certified vouchers therefor, which will be forwarded to the Chief Disbursing Officer for payment. Properly certified copies of this order should be annexed to said vouchers.
