Nacogdoches Co Texas July 8th, 1870. A. W. Stephenson Esq Sup. B.R. F & AL Texas Austin Sir, I have the honor to transmit enclosed the Report of my School for the month Of June [[rxe?]]. There is a considerable shortfall since last month the children being compelled to work in the field I am old man of 74 years, am teaching cold children since May 1869, I have recd from my pupils in all ($12.00) Twelve Dollars [[pesin?]], from the Government up to Novbr' 69 Rent for room ($6.00) Six Dollars, & [[Mthew?]] as a compensation in Decbr' 69. $20 of the Sixty Dollars [[acy?]]. My School has never been closed and regular reports been made to Rev Jos. Welch, late Sup'd't. I would be very much obliged for sending the money due me Very respectfully Thomas Hart.
