La Grange. June 26th 1869
Dear Rev. Welch,

It will please you to know that I have Ninety two scholars; and every one seems pleased at the results. I have sent that check of $20 to the American SS Union for SS Books, question Books, which are very much needed here.

I do not hear from you but I write to you every week. 

There is not much danger of this district going wrong.
