Dear Sir.
While I am awaiting a reply to my last letter to you, I take the opportunity of making a general statement of the Schools in the county and also the condition of affairs educational at this point. 

At Fayetteville Mr Blackburn cold is teaching & how he is pleased with my scholars will be best shown by a note sent to me a few days after he had taken charge of the school which I Enclose

At Cummings Creek School kept by "Nelson Drake" (white) with about 30 scholars P.O. Fayetteville.

At Round Top school kept by Colored man named Mansfield Garner 25 to 30 Scholars.

Rutersville Sunday school & Saturday evening kept by James Fly. cold.
