The Republican Address (see the Journal of State Stupidity) says "Members of Congress will be Elected this year". Afterwards & lately it says No Election. Who's on the inside & who knows? 

I shall stay in La Grange until I am positive about the Election, as simply to change. unless I can help you would not be prudent. School at Fayettville has 45 scholars, and the Master gives them fits: He is a colored Man. You may bet I can Leave this County Safe. All except one of Newcomb's pets and he don't amount to a row of small brass tins rusty.
