Military Camp June 29 1868 His Excellency, E. M. Pease Governor of Texas Sir This will introduce Joseph J. Burk, late of Galveston, who is desirous of a situation as a superintendent of Publíc Schools. My acquaintance with Mr. Burk is somewhat limited but I believe him to be qualified for the position he seeks, and should be pleased to know that his desire can be gratified.
