Sir, I herewith inclose original Contract. For repairing Schoolhouse in Victoria - Also Vouchers for the amt. of $1131 50/100 as per your request dated 11th Nov. I think it best to keep the house's keys until it is examined and read by an Agt of the Supt or better by himself by doing this I can keep contending parties out of the house.

The Methodists claim the right to it & the Baptist the same. Some came with Brown the teacher to occupy it before it was completed to keep Miss Trussel out of it - Miss Trussel is not liked by all of the people Mr. Welch must come and settle this difficulty I could do it were the Election over But I must keep all their votes as the day of the Election nears me my friends increase.
