Your vary polite letter just recd content carefuly Red.  I am vary sorry that you see it propper to discontinue, your sallary.  I commenced teaching in this Citty the first of Jan.  Col I made out my report and sint to you, I also wrote to you asking leaf of to move my position. I could not make saport in Prarie Lea.  I received nothing for the last six months that I taught I also left an estatement with Col. Baker to send to you and Genr Reynols I have done the best I possibly knew how I wish vary mutch that I could of suited you in business I have discharged my duty duty in evry resspect so far as I knew how I hope you will see propper to send me your sallary far gon
but I think you will send me your check
