Office Sub. Assistant Com'd
Bureau of R.F. and A.L.
Houston, Texas, November 9th. 1968.

To Brt. Captain C.S. Roberts
A.A.A. General.
Bureau of R.F. and A.L.
Austin, Texas.

Sir:

The better life of whites begin to take some interest in the cause of education and have shown this by donating money for the purchase of land on which the Government proposes to build a school house. The freed people can do but very little for themselves in the way of educating their children on account of the extreme poverty existing among them. They can be afected by building school houses and furnishing teachers for them.
