Waco Texas 2d Oct 1869

Dear Sir
Yesterday I received a letter dated 27th ult requesting my early attention on business of importance at Austin gave me a letter of Introduction to a certain person who will assist me to carry out his Views in the matter

But has overlooked the necessity of sending me Bureau Transportation to Austin

I am Teaching a Freedman school in Waco nine months & this is my first application I have answered his letter addressed to Philadelphia Penn

You will please send me the order for Bureau transportation at your earliest convenience as the business requires prompt attention
