I have commenced a school at the above place-and have been encouraged by 60 scholars already & hope to be successful if the Bureau will aid me in this undertaking.  I thought proper to address this note to you in the hope that you would assist me if possible; all of which I leave to your favorable consideration; any communication that you may think proper to send me; will be answered with promtness,
