Major S. N. Clark

Dear Sir:
I have tendered my resignation, W Bartholomew I had recommended to succeed me. If possible get J. O. Stevenson in as Asst. or Clerk. They way is open for him to be in the State School Dept., and this will insure it. It is unnecessary for us to speak of his capacity & worth.
By doing this you will assist also the A.M.A., and general educational work. No man in the State better calculated for the position, or to do more good.
Write at once
Very Respectfully
(Sd) Louis W Stevenson
