Sir.
I received a school report from someone, and I supposed it came from you there was no letter or explanation come with it. I then addressed Samuel Canfield and questioned him in regard to it, and in regard to it I open these lines to you as superintendent of schools.
Now Mrs. Watson took up this school by the request of those of her colored friends who had known her a number of years and she had known a number of years and as others scholars took just as much time a number would she concluded to increase the number, she is not governed by no one and is subject to the say so of no one for not does she wish to be. the scholars are all young girls, and all advanced in their studies, they study fourth & fifth reading, arithmetic, history, Geography, Grammar, Writing, &
