Dear Mr. Cunningham:

I received you letter of June 11, 1951 and confirm my cabled answer thereto reading as follows:

Please make shipment in owners name careof Bemo letter follows.

It is altogether in order to have this dispatch made in the name of the private collector, c/o Mr. Morris Gelb, Bemo,Fleisig, Inc., 25 Beaver Street New York 4, N.Y., to whom all documents have to be forwarded.

This shipment must be accompanied by a regular consumer invoice in which the owner consigns the shipment to himself in c/o Mr. Gelb.

As you did not give me any indication whether this collection consists of antique (prior to 1830) or/and modern items, I am giving you below the procedure to be followed regarding information to be submitted on such consular invoice.

Antique - Medium, artist, title, from whom [[strikethrough]] posesse [[/strikethrough]] acquired and when, approximate date of production, value of items, and value of frame (please note that modern as well as modern secondhand frames are subject to duties).

Modern - Medium, artist, title, value of item, and value of frame. (same applying to frames as above).

Modern works of art, that is productions after 1830, also have to be accompanied by an artist's certificate, which is usually established by the shipper.

Mr. Gelb in addition will have to receive delivery instructions from the owner.
