Dear Sir:

We are preparing for publication in 1945 a series of monographs covering Degas, Rodin, Rouault and Marin. The books will be 10 1/2" x 14" in size.

We are interested in obtaining photographs of oils, watercolors, etchings, drawings and sculpture representing the work of the above artists. We are especially interested in pastels of Degas, watercolors of Rodin and particularly in Rodin photographs from the European collections. Would you be kind enough to send us any such photographs available, with a notation as to which pictures are in color?

In addition, we would very much appreciate your advising us as to whether you know of any color plates which might be used for these books.

Thank you very much for your cooperation.

Sincerely,

Aimee Crane [[signature]]
