A.E. Quest Telephone Harrison 4763 C. H. Johnson Cable Address "CHESJOHN" Chester H. Johnson Galleries 410 South Michigan Avenue Second Floor Fine Arts Building Chicago, Ill. May 25, 1933 Dear Trevor: I beg to advise you that the three pictures have arrived, but sorry to say that the one Chinnery portrait without name, H2284, is badly warped; her chest is now on the glass. I presume this is on parchment and should like your advice as to what to do about it. We have not removed it from the frame. Probably it ought to be put on a stretcher, but of course we will do nothing about it until you advise us. I note that you are not going abroad this year and that if necessary we can call on you for pictures. Do I understand that the gallery will be open all summer, or do you wish me to communicate to you at your residence? If so, please advise me. With our thanks and best greetings, Yours sincerely, [[Chester H. Johnson]] Mr. Clyfford Trevor, Jacques Seligmann & Co. Inc., 3 East 51st St., New York, N. Y.
